Outlook XP - Allowing email attachments?

Hi,

A friend of mine is using Outlook XP to send/receive his
email. He says he is unable to open email attachments.
I don't have Office XP yet, but I know in Outlook
Express, there is an option under Tools | Options |
Security for "Do not allow attachments to be saved or
opened that could potentially be a virus." Is there a
similar option for Outlook XP? If someone could tell me
how I can tell him to find it, I would appreciate it.
