Outlook XP Asking for Password

Hi

Everytime Outlook tries to download files from my pop mail it keeps o
presenting me with a box asking for my username and password. I put th
details in, click ok and it asks for it again. It never accepts th
details!

Please help

HI there,
I went to support.microsoft.com and searched on outlook
2002 and "promtp for password" I found a few article
numbers that might help you..
281791 -this one is about having multipe accounts set up
with the same server names
301475 -this one tells you to get the latest service pack
You may also want to try creating a new profile in
outlook and then importing your settings into it then
test to see if it is the account or outlook you are
having the issue with.
