I have encountered a prblem with Outlook on my network. I autoarchive my
emails daily to a store on my server. The problem is that if my server store
is unavailable I get not only an error message but also a new 'Personal
Folders' in my folders list. This new folder contain no data and it cannot
be deleted either.
How do I get rid of this folder? When my archiving works correctly I have an
'Archive Folder' in my folders list.

See my reply to your post in microsoft.public.office.misc.

For future reference: If you must cross-post, it is better to post the same
message to all the relevant newsgroups at once (please keep it down to the
bare minimum!) by including all the newsgroup names in the "Newsgroups"
field in the header of your message. That way, the same thread is visible
in all of the groups, including all replies. Posting separately to each
group is known as "multiposting" and is generally considered bad netiquette.
