Outlook2003 requires Win installer each time it's opened

When I open Outlook 2003 after upgrading from Outlook 2002
it calls for Win installer from the Office XP CD. This
happens whether 2003 has been installed clean or as an
upgrade within Office XP. I've uninstalled/installed it,
Outlook 2002, and Office XP in all combinations but always
get saddled with Win installer's insistence on the CD.
Thanx for any help.
