OutlookXP/Netscape 4 issue

Leigh

We have 1/2 users on OutlookXP on pc's and 1/2 users on
Macs using Netscape 4.5, 4.7 for their emails. I've
configured everyone using Outlook to send emails plain
text so mac people can see them. The problem is when the
Outlook users forward a html message to a mac user, the
mac user can SEE the message but when they print it out
no text from the message prints. Anyone have ideas?

This is a MAC issue not an Outlook issue besides instructing the Outlook
users to revert mails to Plain Text before forwarding.

For the print issue; try updating the printerdriver os reconfigure it. You
can also use a PostScript printer driver instead. For more support please
refer to a MAC newsgroup.

Good Luck!

Outlook isn't compliant to standard when it's about MIME. I suppose
the original message being forwarded is in fact an attachment. You
could verify this by going to Tools > Options > Preferences (tag) >
Email options (button). In the lower part of the window, you could see
"When forward a message" field. Change this field to "Include original
message text" and try if this fixes your problem.

Good luck.
