OVAL WILL NOT PRINT !!!

After making a keyable(Ctrl. T) B&W picture of a sun
using publisher 2000. The 12 lines the suns rays & the
base line for bottom printed ok. But when I made the half
oval from "custom shapes", this is the only part of the
picture that would not print. I also noticed that if I
zoom in over 110% the oval will disappear in my publisher
window.
I cannot use the regular oval because I have to put a
box on the bottom half of the oval to cut it off to make
it like the sun is setting. Once you put a box to cover it
up the bottom half of the oval to make it like a sun is
setting you cannot make the whole picture keyable to on a
web page (you end up with a white box below the sun on
your web page not keyable).
The oval is at 1 point in width, I have tried
increase the line width of the oval with no luck...the
oval will disappear totally at any zoomed incraments.
Any Ideas?

Have you considered using a piece of clipart? You can adjust the nodes to meet the
box, eliminating the need to use a covering box. Autoshapes in Publisher 2000 cannot
be changed by adjusting the nodes. You can create your effect, group, copy and paste
into a Paint application and make the transparency adjustment.
