overlaying text onto playing video

I need to have a video insert playing, with a text box working as it should
(appearing with a build) ON TOP of the video insert. Unless I did it the
wrong way, it seems the video box wants to take priority and move forward in
its entirety while playing, thus blocking other object within its perimeter
on the slide.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this not possible? Thx.

BorisS,
Sorry but video is always on top, you can't display anything else in front
of it.
Nothing you can do about it.

In PowerPoint, you can't place text or object over a video. Video clip will
always be on top. If you want to insert a textbox, try shrinking the size of
the video or put the textbox below the below and not on top of it.

A possible workaround with OfficeOne Add-in:
Show text over video
