Owner Permissions

Got that, but how can we "transfer" ownership. That is,
are names only avaialable in the Owner drop down box if
the ID had previosly published a plan, or is there another
way to populate that value list?

There are 2 issues here: one is what it takes to activate
the "Edit project details" capability and the other is
what populates the available PM list.

To activate the feature I believe you have the "Manage
enterprise features" permission which also activates other
capabilities as well. We have made the ability to change
project managers an admin/help desk responsibility because
of this.

Who is displayed in the list depends on how you have your
system configured. Basically, anyone who has Open Project
and Close Project permissions will show in the list. You
can add people to the list my putting them in a Group
which has the appropriate Category applied to it.

Jim - Your suggestion for Issue #1 worked like a
charm...I'm still tweaking permissions, etc for Issue #2,
as I have not yet successfully populated that value list.
