HI NG!
I have been "googleing" for hours to find a solution to my problem, but have
not found anything I really understand. To be honest I have not understood
by now how to use the events in reports. Due to this I am afraid I will need
some more detailed instructions, if there is anyone out there who wants to
do this.
I have a report with detailed data from one table (company name, etc.) which
I cannot merge with the data from the second table (customer name). So I
placed the second table in sub report. Everything works fine with the main
report. It is always only one record of the same length. The problem arises
as soon as I have too many records in the sub report to fit on one page.
Then the sub report is continued on the next page. But instead of going on
by printing the information of the next record of the main report (company
name) and then again the sub report, the information of the main report is
not printed, only the sub report. So you do not know to which company the
customer belongs to. I tried page breaks in several places, but have not
been too successful yet.
