Page Numbering Slides

How do I stop the title slide being counted as a slide in
the numbering, therefore having the page number 1 on the
2nd slide in the footer. Thanks in advance

Go to View > Header and Footer > Slide and check "Don't show on title slide".

1.. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
2.. Under Number slides from, enter the number you want the slides to start
with. Choose 0.

I tried changing starting number to be 0 and it doesn't allow me, i.e., the
option you mentioned isn't available. I am using PP 2002 (SP3). Shoudl I be
looking for it under a different view?

Go to File > Page Setup. It doesn't matter what view you're in. Well, it
doesn't work in Slide Show view. See the lower left corner of the dialog. It
says "Number slides from".
