page numbering

I want to have the first four pages of my document with no page numbering, and have the fourth page start at number 1. I have made it into a section break so that it does start number 1, but now the first four have the numbers 1 -4. I tried to delete them in the footer, but it then deletes all the page numbering. Hum
Wonder if you can help?

With the header/footer toolbar open and the cursor in the second section,
you need to toggle the Same as Previous icon (on the h/f toolbar) to off.
Then you will be able to delete the numbers in the first section without
affecting the second section.
