Pages not showing up

Windows XP Publisher 2000.

This isn't the first time I've had this problem but I can't remember the
simple solution.

Documents containing more than one page are not showing all the pages. Only
page one is visible and the page numbers don't appear on the task bar to
select theother pages.

Can someone please remind me how to get the page numbers back at the bottom
of the screen.

Mary... Sorry I didn't reply but this problem seemed to rectify itself last
time without checking for your answer. Now it's happened agoain and I've
gone to view ... toolbars and status bar is checked....

What do I need to do? Thanks for your patience.

Try a detect & repair under help.
Are any of your other toolbars missing?
