paragraph numbering

I have a word document that has been imported to Publisher 2007.
It contains a lot of outline numbering which is lost on import.
How can I format outline numbering in Publisher as it does not appear to be
available.
e.g.
3. Heading 1
3.1 Heading 2
3.1.1 Heading 3

Judicious use of tabs is about the only way in Publisher.

Set, change, or clear tab stops

Thanks Mary, I guess I will be looking at Scribus or Serif Plus in future.
