Part of tiff doesn't print

AutoCad Render file with windows "cloud" backround saved
as .tif file. clouds show when tif is opened in
photoshop, but when inserted into publisher doesn't
show...just white.

That does not surprise me.
Export it as a PNG or JPG and that should work perfectly.
PhotoShop has some weird non-standard TIF filters that are troublesome.
