Password a Hyperlink in FP2003?

Is it possible to password a hyperlink to a pdf file in Frontpage2003?

Not in that way.

You do have options though- #1 would be to regenerate the PDF with a
password on it so the person who downloads it would need the password, #2
would be to make a password required page that lists the downloads.

I hae not been able to find how to password a page in FP2003 - I could do it in FP2000 but 2003 does not seem to have that option.

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
