Password Hassle

Diggy

OK, everyone and their grandma knows that both OE AND OL have problems
retaining the password. Why the heck can't MS fix this?? It's a pain in
the butt to go into the registry and look for these keys with the esoteric
names like 323kkff-rrrfjwjq3nd-jsdjdj, and then mess with them. It's not
like email is a new, cutting edge technology, holy cow.

It's gettin on my nerves.

since it doesn't happen to everyone and deleting the key fixes it for those
with the problem, it's hard to determine the cause and without the cause,
you can't begin to prevent it.

FWIW, I had it once after an upgrade of the OS - once in over 3 years of
daily use of Winxp/win2k.
