password in O.E.

I am trying to use O.E. with verizon dsl and O.E. will not
remember my password in Tools>Accounts>Server. I've
clicked the remember password checkbox but when I re-open
O.E., the password textbox is blank. I can send email and
can only receive it by clicking on the Send/Receive
option. Any ideas?
