All of the sudden, I am unable to receive mail in one of
myt user accounts. On the receive command, a window opens
with my user name prompting for my password. I enter it,
but the window continues to come up. Finally, I hit
cancel and receive the following error message:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your
Password was rejected. Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR [SYS/PERM] Unable to process From lines
(envelopes) in /var/spool/mail/; change recognition mode
or check for corrupted mail drop.', Port: 110, Secure
(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:
0x800CCC92
If I go online to my webmail and enter the exact smae
user name and paawrod, it logs me on with no problem, so
I know these are correct (I have checked for the usual
CAPS errors, etc). This seems to have occured for no
reason, and I have not changed any of the settings for my
account.
