Password will not save

I'm using Microsoft 2000. Trying to get the password to
save when opening each time. I went to the tools menu and
selected the Logon tab under Microsoft mail and entered
the password, but the "When Logging On, Automatically
Enter Password" switch is faded and will not let me select.

There are a lot of articles on this kind of problem on
the microsoft site, depending upon what version of
windows and outlook you are using.

have a look throught his list and see if any apply to you:
(it's a long address! -if you have any problems with it,

containing "outlook does not save password")
