Passworded word document

How can I access a word documment for which the password
has been forgotten.

You can't. The document is encrypted.

There are hackers out there who purport to crack the passwords if you have
the time and money and inclination to give them your credit card details.
There is one example linked from my web site, but use it entirely at your
own risk.
