passwords on Outlook

C

Culbertson

I am running Outlook XP. I want to put a password on the
program so people who use my computer cannot open up
Outlook and read my email.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for your help

You can password protect your pst if that
is where you keep your info (or do you
connect to an exchange server?).

Right click the top level folder
Select PROPERTIES
Click the ADVANCED... button
Click the CHANGE PASSWORD button...

Be aware that if you forget your password you will
not be able to access this folder either.

If you connect to an Exchange Server you can
set it up to use a different authentication method
to ask for your NT password to open Outlook.
