"Paste as nested table" .

F

fundthaw

I am using XP software. I copied address info off a web page and put it into
an excel spreadsheet. I then tried to copy and paste that infor into word
documents. When I "copied" from the spreadsheet and went to paste the
address info into the word doc. the option read "Paste as a nested table".
What does that mean and how does that affect the word doc.?

Webpages often use 'tables' (rows and columns) to
organize the layout of a webpage.

Nested tables are when you have one table within
another, larger table.

Word 2000 and higher support nested tables, older
versions do not.
