paste web page content without frame formatting

What I am trying to do is copy a page of results from a Library catalog search to a word document without all the frame formatting. In XP all you have to do is paste special in RTF from the drop down save window. When I attempt this in Word 2003 the hour glass icon comes up, it shows it working for a while then when the icon disappears there is nothing on the Word document. I want to make a clean list without frame formatting, how do I accomplish this?

G'day Brenda <[email protected]>,

Paste via Notepad / Wordpad. Eg paste in notepad, copy that, paste
that in Word.
