pasting a filename

I want to copy some text from a document and use that text to create a name
for the document. In my case I want to save patient letters which have the
patient's name typed in it with a filename that contains the patient name. I
then wish to create a macro to execute this task quickly. When using the
"save as..." command and prompted for a filename, I cannot paste the text
copied from the document to create the filename. Is there a fix within Word
for this or does anyone know of a utility that can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

By default, Word offers the following as the suggested filename:

1. The contents of the Title field, if any.

2. The first few words in the document (up to the first punctuation mark).

It might therefore be more profitable to use your macro to write the desired
text to the Title document property.
