Pasting a ppt foil into a html text area

Have Outlook 2002 SP2 and it does not seem to behave like
Outlook 97, or 2000. I cut a foil from Power Point 2002
and try to paste it to a text message but nothing
happens. I dont want to attach it as a file since that
requires opening another app.....anybody know why I am
being "disabled" from doing this?

What is a PowerPoint foil? I've used PowerPoint for years, but never heard
that term before.

A single page from a Power Point presentation gets loaded
into the Clipboard and can be seen in Outlook clipboard
area but refuses to be pasted into an open new message.
