Pasting formula text

S

Swampy

Hi,

I have created several "funky" formula's, and wanted to document the
in a formulas page within the workbook.

Is there a way I can copy and paste a range of formula's, pasting th
formula text and not the resultant.

To get around it I pasted the text from each cell preceeded by a ', bu
this is very primitive..

To make the process faster, try the following on a copy of your workbook:

Select the cells with formulas (Edit>Go to, Special, Formulas)
Choose Edit>Replace
For Find What, enter: =
In the Replace With box, type a space character and equal sign: <space>=
Click Replace All

Copy the cells with formulas, and paste onto the other sheet

To restore the formulas on the first sheet, replace <space>= with =
