Paze Setup change for all new presentations

I have been trying to find a way to change default settings for all new presentations I make with PowerPoint (XP). I've created a blank.pot file as addviced in the Help of PowerPoint, but it doesn't help. I also made some new Desing Templates but this setting doesn't change even if I apply desing to another presentation. I just have to change the settings manually every time. I want slides to be sized for A4 Paper (210x297 mm) and now all the presentations (which I haven't changed manually) are sized for On-screen Show. (File - Paze Setup... - Slides sized for:) Has anyone had the same difficulties? I would really appreciate some help.

Thank you for your messages in this forum :). I found a message with a link (pptfaq) and there I found the solution. Default folder didn't mean the default folder for my own templates or for design templates or for my documents, which I thought it meant first. It meant the default folder that PowerPoint suggest when I try to save the new .pot-file. I just didn't understand it before I read in the pptfaq "PowerPoint automatically chooses the correct folder for you". Sorry for my impatience and thank you once again.

Good for you for finding your answer on your own, Minja. Well done!
