PDF Writer link gone

I've converted Pub 2000 documents with Acrobat PDF Writer hundreds of times.
Suddenly I get a "MSPUB caused PDFWritr.drv error" and after a few attempts,
I get now a "MSPub caused a Kernel32.dll error"
What gives? Help!
Thanks, Cathy

Re-install Adobe Acrobat and that should fix your problem.

I hope you realise how buggy and what sub-standard garbage PDFWriter is.
Please note, that comment is only about PDFWriter not the rest of Adobe
Acrobat.

If I may be so impertinent, I would suggest seriously considering using
something other than PDFWriter. In the experience of most customers,
PDFWriter is the least satisfactory way to generate PDFs, and this has been
acknowledged by Adobe removing the product from default installs of recent
versions of Acrobat.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, then I suggest using the Acrobat Distiller (or
Adobe PDF in Acrobat 6) printer driver.
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, and PDFWriter was installed as part of
another Adobe package, then your next course of action depends on your
circumstances.

If you need to create PDFs to distribute to customers, then you can use a
cheap piece of PDF software. PDF995 at www.pdf995.com and PDF-Xchange at
www.docu-track.com can both do this, and are both relatively inexpensive.
These products aren't as feature-packed as Adobe Acrobat, but they're not as
expensive either.

If you need to create PDFs for commercial print, or you want extra editing
and encryption functionalities, I would suggest getting the full version of
Acrobat 6 from www.adobe.com.

I hope this helps
