Performing action if report is printed

Is there any way to know if a report that was displayed to a user was
actually printed?

I need to perform an action ONLY if the report was actually sent to the
printer but not if it was only displayed on the screen.

There is no way to know this with the standard interface.

If the report is printed without preview, the report's Activate event never
fires, so you may be able to use that fact.

If the report is previewed, you may be able to use a custom toolbar and menu
so you can call functions that let you know the print is taking place.

Of course, just because a report was sent to the printer does not guarantee
that it actually came out.
