Personal Address Book

I am in process of transferring my personal address book
and the archive.pst from the old Compaq to the new Dell.
I exported the PAB and archive.pst to C:\My
Documents\<user>\local settings\...\Outlook folder. Then
I went to look for those two files under the "local
settings" but cannot find "local settings" under the
<user> name.

Is this folder hidden and if so, how do I unhide it?

Yes its hidden, in Control Panel > Folder Options > view > check "Hidden
Files and Folders"
