Photo attachement in email?

Everytime I send photos attached to emails, the recepient opens and check
photos only to be disappointed because the photos are large, that the only
way to view is moving the cursor?

How do you limit the size of photos attached for easy viewing?

You use a image resolution suitable for emails or perhaps web viewing. How
you do so, depends on the application you are using for the image files and
how you are attaching/inserting the image into the email. Which you did not
say.

Thanks for your promt reply Don MI,
I am using Kodak's Easyshare software.
I had adjusted Jpeg compression level for saving edited pictures and for
Emailing.
The photo recepient informed me she is still getting huge photos.
I used Outlook/Outlook express for emailing.

Please help.

Randy, I am not familiar with the Kodak software. What you need to do is
reduce the size not the *jpg compression levels.

Look around the File menu in the Kodak software for an option to save to
email. Microsoft Digital Image has a File, Save a copy.., save copy for
email. Microsoft Picture Manager 2003 has an export option for email. I
expect that the Kodak software has a similar option.

If you are using Windows XP, if you right click on a *.jpg file in Windows
Explorer and choose send to email, you should get a message asking if you
want to change the picture size.

If you are using a version of Office prior to Office 2003, you should have a
copy of Microsoft Picture Editor. If so, look in its File menu for a save
for email option.

If you cannot find a save for email, try looking for a save for web.
