Photoed not working in XP

I have upgraded from 98 to XP and reinstalled Office 97. Photoed min/max
button always minimizes to the task bar. Also it is impossible to select
multiple image files and 'open' all of them into photoed. It is possible to
select ONE image file and 'open' with photoed.
