photogallery file size limit?

I am trying to figure out why photogallery will not let me upload lots
of pictures all in one shot. I have found that if I upload over about
100 640X480 pictures with thumbnails it will not present it all on one
page on the remote site.

If I break it down to about 50 pictures per web page it works fine.
Anyone know why?

do you mean~ anyone know why it works fine?
I hadn't tried to put that many pictures into one gallery. how does it show
the "paging" to navigate between these two pages? do you have a url to one
of these galleries?

Nope... but I'll suggest that you don't need to know either.

You should not put that much in the way of graphics on one page.
Split it up and give the user an index page to select a sub category
that leads them to a page of 50 or less. What you're doing is not
good design - unless you have a very string justification.

I do not think a couple of hundred thumbnails are a big deal as far as
file size goes. That is the whole idea of using thumbnails. Also, the
pictures are not really for the entire world to view. I am taking
photos of property for an investor and giving that person the URL to
view them since email for this many pictures would not work. Every
layout in photogallery uses thumbnails. Is there some better way to
move lots of pictures across the internet that requires no skill on the
receiver end?

I really don't care if the page loads slow.

To answer your question...
So far I have had to do what Bob suggested, I create a main page and put
links on it to three separate photogalleries. This is extra work for me
and I do not see why I can not just put all the thumbnails on one page.

Since your are creating this for specific clients, then the following might be a workable solution,
as the user would only need to have Adobe Reader to view:

You can download the free starter kit.

it'd take too long for your visitors to get the page. there are other tools
available for making photo galleries that you might want to look into. most
of them work fine with FrontPage
