How were the special effects on the pictures in sample brochures created.
I was looking at the casual brochure section on a sample marketing cd that
came from hewlett packard. The pictures are "waffled" splitting it up into
sections. Would love to know how to create this effect.

In an image editing program. Publisher is not one of those.

Where can we see the sample brochure? Most of the images used on the Microsoft
brochures can be duplicated with Publisher. If the images are bitmaps, they will be
on the clipart site.

Thank you very much. I did'nt think published had that capability, but I was
hoping. Am assuming Adobe Photo Editor or Photo Elements will be able to do
that as I am purchasing one soon unless you have a better one you would
recommend.

HP supplies the templates for what you are trying to do. The templates are
for WORD and Publisher. Please see:

However, they may require HP Photo Editor to create the images - the
documentation is not clear.

Paintshop Pro v 9 is a fabulous program and very reasonably priced. It
will do very sophisticated graphics but also has a 1-step photo fix that
will improve 98% of your photos (graphics). I have used PSP for years
and love it.

She originally stated sample brochures, then spoke of the HP samples. I am assuming
