Pictures on Microsoft Publisher 2003

I want to add an image as a background to my publication on Publisher 2003.
The image is saved on my computer, and when I add it to the backgrounds, it
shows up fine (Background manager). However, when I actually place the
background image into the publication, it shows a VERY zoomed-in picture.
Any ideas on how to resize?

Backgrounds tile. You can re-size the image in your editing program, it will
make a bigger tile. If you are wanting one image you would be better off simply
inserting your image, perhaps placing it on the Master Page ctrl+m.
