I just downloaded the Places.dll Add-in from the Microsoft download site. It
places a ReadMe file on my computer which tells me that the add-in
automatically registers itself, "but if it doesn't," I can get it to do so by
going to Start > Run and entering the line Regsvr32 <path>\Places.dll and
clicking on "OK." Hah! That continually delivers the message this cannot be
found. However, I can find the Places.dll file on my computer! I would
really like to use this little add-in instead of fiddling with the Registry.
(I've changed the Places Bars in Office by using the Registry -- it's a pain,
and now that I've had a HD crash and am rebuilding, I don't really want to do
it again if I can help it!) Anybody got any idea why this isn't working?
