Placing columns in part of a document.

I was using works 03 and I could type in text and then insert 2 columns from
that point forward and then go back to a reg. page from the end of those
columns. How do I do that now? When I insert the columns there is no option
to select from this point forward or whole documnet, it just changes the
whole document. Thanks
