The transfer of a document or computer program from one data storage medium to another. This is generally from
disk to RAM memory or vice-versa, as opposed to saving from RAM to disk. "Loading document..."

moment. This is short-term memory and is lost when the power is shut off. If you don't save your work before

An upgrade is a later release (version) of a software program. Most software companies work to improve their
existing software by upgrading it periodically by adding new features and functions. "Microsoft Office XP

downgrade:
A downgrade is an earlier release (version) of a software program. "Installing Microsoft Office XP Standard
Edition instead of Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 would be downgrading."

Transferring data (usually a file) from the computer you are using to another computer; The opposite of
download. "Microsoft uploads trials of their software to the Microsoft.com website."
download:
Transferring data (usually a file) from a another computer to the computer you are using; The opposite of
upload. "Download the Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 Trial before you buy."
