Please wait while windows configures office small business editio

All of a sudden when ever I was opening e-mail in Outlook Express or opening
a Word document, I started getting this "Please wait while Windows configures
Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003." When I started getting the
message, I had not updated the program, so I went in and checked for updates.
Downloading the updates didn't help. I've removed and re-installed the
Office Small Business Ed. 2003 several times from disk. I continue to get
this message. WHY?

I'm having a similar problem. For me, it's wenever I respond to an e-mail in
Outlook Express, not when I open it, and not in any other program.
First a "Windows Installer" box pops up, which I cancel out of, then I get
the "Please wait while Windows configures MIcrosoft Office 2000 Premium,"
which I cancel out of. Usually this goes on a few times before everything
clears and I can respond to the e-mail. It happens over and over, with every
e-mail response.
