Poor Graphics Resolution on Printouts

Two more related symptoms:

It seems that the problem applies also to GIFS that were
created with a transparent background first and then
imported into Pub2002.

I also confirmed this problem exists with Publisher 2000
as well.

It seems like any image with a transparent layer ends up
with poor printout resolution.
