pop e-mail accounts fail to set up

I am trying to switch from OE to Outlook 2002 on XP. I
have several POP e-mail accounts, which I can
successfully set up, but if I try to set up more than
two, strange things happen - either the first one
disappears or the second one takes on attributes of the
third one and so-on. Is there a limit to the number of
POP accounts Outlook will allow? If so, is there a work
around? If not, can anyone tell me a fix?

I was adding accts through view/change accts rather than
add acct. What a dummy!
