I have an Outlook 2003/Windows XP Professional user whose ISP POP3 account
is not being polled during scheduled send/receives. He has two send receive
groups both set to check two accounts: one an Exchange 2003 account (over
HTTP/S) and the other his ISP POP3 account. His messages from the Exchange
server are being downloaded on schedule, but his POP3 account only pulls
down new messages when he does a manual send/receive.
I have deleted and recreated both the POP3 account and the send/receive
group, but neither of these have helped. I have verified that both
send/receive groups include the POP3 account and that it is set to both send
and receive messages as well as "synchronize" the Inbox. The exact same
send/receive settings--for my accounts--work fine on one of my windows
machines.
Has anyone seen anything like this before, or does anyone have any ideas
about what may be causing this?
