Porting from Access 97

I have a few databases written in access 97 that I want to make portable. I
understand Access 2007 can do this. ( and access2003) but I think I need
access 2003 to act as an intermediary port.

Is Access 2007 the platform to aim at, what difficulties might I get to on
the way and how could I best avoid them.

I want to be able for several users to access the same dataset over the
internet. I also want to ensure that any user could use a runtime program to
access the database. Does Access 2007 allow me to use google spreadsheets as
a table that is directly linked to the access application or would I need a
SQL server to achieve this.

can anyone give me some answers, links, or hints on this porting issue

Thanks

David

What you really want is to use RDP (for a single concurrent user) or
Terminal Services for multiple concurrent users, to access multiple
front-ends located on a machine on the LAN. As far as I know, you cannot use
Google anything with Microsoft automation, or any other automation either.

Terminal services will work with any version of Access. You can also use a
3rd party RDP program like WinConnect:

to connect up to 21 concurrent users.
