What to do with the final slide?

how do I get a show to stay at the last slide, in other words hold there,
once the animation is done on that slide? I am trying to send out an email
that has a show in it and 2 slides...the first slide is automatic....the
second has 3 transitions from the left...once I get to the 3rd transition, I
want to simply stop the show...right now it moves to the next slide or at
this point 'end of show' screen.

Unfortunately if you make a slide's animations automatic, its transition
also becomes automatic.

What I'd do is add a third slide that looks like slide #2 in the state it
should stop in. I'd make sure that the third slide's transition is not
automatic and that there's not an actual transition applied (dissolve, fade,
etc.). That should force slide 2 to automatically transition to slide 3,
which should stay put.
