IN WORD & PUBLISHER THE FONT EFFECT OUTLINE IS SHOWN BUT NOT IN POWER POINT
HOW CAN I GET IT THERE ALSO?

It isn't available in PowerPoint . Create the text in Word, copy and then in
PowerPoint use "Paste Special" as a Microsoft Office Word Document Object.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY BUT THIS MAKES IT VERY HARD TO USE. WHEN I USE POWER
POINT I HAVE AROUND 20 SLIDS AND WOULD LIKE TO USE THIS EFFECT ON ALL OF
THEM. WHY DID YOU NOT INCLUDE THIS IN POWER POINT LIKE WORD AND PUBLISHER. IT
IS A GREAT FEATURE AND I HAVE SEEN IT ON OTHER POWER POINT LIKE PROGRAMS AND
IT MAKES IT SO EASY TO READ. I USE POWER POINT FOR WORSHIP AND SERMONS AT OUR
CHURCH.

Les,

as well as your using all capital letters makes your posting very hard to
read (and is usually considered as SHOUTING in newsgroups), text with
outline-effect is much more harder to read on slides, especially if viewers
are sitting far away from the screen (as will be the case in a large
church). Seat yourself in the back-row and test it against normal or bold
text.

Kind regards,
Ute

Please turn off Caps Lock. It is very difficult to read and on the Internet it
is interpreted as shouting.

Maybe you are shouting, but if so, please shout at Microsoft. Here we are only
users like you. I don't work for Microsoft and I don't know why this feature is
explicitly ommitted in PowerPoint. My opinion is that outline text is difficult
to read when projected on a screen. I always prefer to use large bold text for
clarity and reading ease. This would certainly be true if I were in church.

NOT SHOUTING JUST A BAD TYPER WHO USES CAPS ALL THE TIME TO MAKE IT A LITTLE
EASIER. IS THERE A WAY OF MAKING A SUGGESTION TO ADD THIS TO THE FONTS OF
POWER POINT. I KNOW I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT GOES INTO THE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS
BUT ISN'T THE WORK ALREADY DONE BYT HAVING THEM IN PUBLISHER AND WORD?
