Powerpoint 2000, unable to play media after CD creation

O

Ouch

I have created my presentation using all images & media collected in same
folder; then followed Microsofts explanation on making it run from CD-ROM. It
works OK apart from not playing .WMV media files; if I just double click the
..PPT file on my new CD-ROM everything works as it should. As soon as I use
the 2003 viewer on the CD it fails. I have followed the instructions for
using 2003 viewer as explained by MS, has anyone any ideas on fix?

There is a bug in the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer and it will not correctly play
audio or video files if the presentation was created in PowerPoint 2000 or 97.
If you use the PowerPoint 97 Viewer your media will play fine. However, the
instructions you used for the CD won't work for the 97 Viewer. See
