Hi - how do I change the view of PPT when it opens? I want to just see a
blank slide in slide view.

Not normal view where I see the notes on the left for the current slide.

Do you want slide show view -- as in a presentation, or do you want normal
(editing) view but without all the panes?

Can you also check which version of PPT? PPT 2000 has an outline view on the
left, but its notes are below the slide. You can check your version by going
to Help/About.
