O
online administrator
Hi,
I'm an online administrator for a large organisation and
we maintain many intranet sites for our staff. Using
Office 2000 I was able to simply upload Powerpoint files
and create a link to them in Frontpage, then staff were
able to click the hyperlink and the presentation would
load and display in Powerpoint.
We've recently upgraded to Office 2002 and now when staff
click hyperlinks to the presentations they are prompted to
open or save the file, clicking the open button does
nothing so staff are forced to download the file in order
to view it.
I can't find any mention of this in any of the Help files
or Microsoft support knowledge base.
Do I now have to save the files as HTML, in which case,
can I turn off the navigation and simply let the
presentation run in slideshow format?
