Is there any way that I can open two separate instances of powerpoint? I want
to be able to open/edit two separate powerpoint files under different
powerpoint sessions. Appreciate any help if possible.

Not that I'm aware. You can open more than one PPT file and use
Windows/Arrange, though.

You might also try going to Tools/Options and changing the "windows in
taskbar" option on the View tab to see if that's more to your liking.

Hi VJA,

Echo's solution should work for the task you described.
You can force a separate instance of Powerpoint using
the /c switch on a commandline or shortcut.
