powerPoint 2003 not showing add-in

I have security set to low and when I install an add-in it goes through
everything as normal but does not show up in toolbar or customize etc. When
I go to the actual add in using Windows Explorer and double click it I get a
message that it is already running. I am an Administrator on the machine
running XP

Thanks for the reply - but unfortunately there are no items listed in the
disabled box. The add-in is VBPresenter. I have contacted them and they are
trying to find out why I'm having this issue also. It happens on multiple
machines - has not worked on one single machine. I wonder if it would help
if they just sent me another copy of the application?

I can run the adobe pro add-in just fine. If there were another add-in that
would work with VBPresenter I would try it.

Ok I found something interesting. I successfully installed the desired
add-in on a Vista machine instead of XP. The other difference is that the
Vista machine is not running our firewall. Even though I stopped the agent
in the xp machines I think its possible that is causing the problem but I do
not have the application disk with me now to try to confirm that. Thanks for
your help -
